The location and design for improvements proposed for Route 729 near Flint Hill will be the subject of a public hearing in Flint Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 27 at the Flint Hill firehouse.
Beginning at 5 p.m., Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) representatives will be on hand to conduct for the public an informal review of information on the proj ect.
VDOT is proposing improvements On Route 729 at the Hickman Run Bridge to eliminate two sharp curves and widen the road over Hickman Run.
During the public hearing, relocation assistance programs and tentative schedules for right of way acquisition and construction will be discussed, said Bob Moore, Warrenton resident engineer.
