Mrs. T.M. Johnston spent a few days last week with Mrs. Carolyn Meade, Bethany and Broocks in Charlottesville. On Saturday Mrs. Johnston attended the Johnston family reunion at Sherando Park in Stephens City.
Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie Atkins attended the all day meeting at Thornton’s Gap Baptist Church on Sunday. Mrs. Magdalene Dwyer was a Saturday overnight guest of Mrs. Tyner and Miss Atkins.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overhulser of Springfield were Wednesday until Friday guests of the latter’s mother Mrs. Catherine Brown. Mrs. Barbara Payne of Warrenton was a Friday guest in the Brown home.
