Spring crop
reports due
Producers in Rappahannock County who have planted com, soybeans and other spring seeded crops need to report their acreage to the ASCS office by July 1.
Those producers who participated in the 1991 wheat and feed grain programs are required to file this report.
Due to the changes in the 1990 Farm Bill, wool producers and any producer who received or will receive cost-share under the Agricultural Conservation Program (ACP) are also required to file their acreage reports as well.
Failure to file these reports could result in loss of program benefits or repayment of the benefits received.
