A Culpeper motorcyclist and his 17-year-old passenger were both injured when the bike’s rear tire blew one mile north of Route 604 on U.S. 522 at 2:50 p.m. June 15, according to Sgt. G.A. Morris of the State Police.
Bobby Lee Smith, 43, was operating a 1974 Honda bike southbound on U.S. 522 when the tire blew at the Blackwater Creek bridge, said Sgt. Morris.
