soured recently with Mrs. Lynn claiming in a meeting of the WPA two weeks ago that the board was destroying the school and the two attorneys were committing “grand larceny” of the school.
Mr. Miller’s suit claims that as a result of “false, malicious, defamatory, slanderous and insulting statements, uttered with actual malice by defendant, plaintiff Miller individually has been caused to suffer great mortification, humiliation, shame, vilification, exposure to public infamy, scandal and disgrace, injury to his good reputation, harm in the conduct of his business affairs, and financial loss, and has been and will be in the future impeded in the practice of his profession, all in that defendant falsely accused him of conducting and engaging in criminal, unprofessional and unethical activities.”
Pamela Lynn, who could not be reached for comment Tuesday, has said that the school’s curriculum has suffered under the new board and the administration of Dr. Alan Saunders, who took over from her a year ago.
Mr. Hopewell said he supports Dr. Saunders, who he said has “done remarkably well under the circumstances.”
