Former presidential nominee and distinguished author, Sen. Eugene McCarthy, will deliver the inaugural keynote lecture for the new honors seminar at Lord Fairfax Community College. Sen. McCarthy is a resident of Woodville.
Open to the public, Sen. McCarthy's lecture will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, in Room 40 of the college in Middletown. His topic will be 'The Paradox of Freedom," this year's Phi Theta Keppa Honors topic.
