Mildred Withers
Mildred Marie Withers, 61, of Washington, died Wednesday, Jan. 8 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Mrs. Withers was born Sept. 6, 1930 in Great Falls and she was a homemaker,
Survivors include her husband, Roy E. Withers Jr.; three daughters, Sharon Collum of Warrenton, Molly Barnette of Fredericksburg and Terry Hitt of Washington; three sisters, Mary Craig of Washington, D.C., Dorothy Dillow of Charlestown, W.Va. and Jane Hunter of Cabin John, Md.; a brother, James HilLof Mathias, W.Va.; nine grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
Funeral services *Were held Friday, Jan. 10 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton by the Rev. Milton Switzer. Interment was in Culpeper National Cemetery.
Sallie Davis
Mrs. Sallie L. Davis, 98, of Rixeyville, died Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the Warrenton Overlook Care Center.
She was born March 20, 1893 in Hahira, Ga., the daughter of the late Willie Ashley Kendrick and Frances Della Webb Kendrick.
She was the wife of the late Leonard Joseph Davis and two daughters and a son predeceased her.
She is survived by two sons, William Jerome Davis of Ocala, Fla. and Leonard Joseph Davis Jr. of Amissville; one daughter, Lennie Devlin of Falls Church; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 11 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jeffersonton by Rev. Thomas Everett.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Amissville Baptist Church or to the Amissville Volunteer Rescue Squad.

Beulah A. Brill, 95, of Manassas Park, died Tuesday, Jan. 7 at the Prince William Hospital in Manassas.
