The funeral was conducted Wednesday, Jan. 15 at the Flint Hill Macedonia Baptist Church by the Rev. James Price. Burial was in Odd Fellow Cemetery at Flint Hill with an Eastern Star Memorial Service.
Mrs. Jordan was born Nov. 25, 1938, at Huntly, the daughter of the late Warner and Mary Wells Russell. She was employed with Ogden Allied Industry. She was a member of the Flint Hill Macedonia Baptist Church, where she was president of the senior choir and the usher board. She was a member of the Order of. the Eastern Star Chapter 208 in Front Royal.
Surviving are her husband, Melvin L. Jordan of Huntly; two sons, Anthony W. Jordan and Enoch M. Hughes, both of Philadelphia; three daughters, Valerie E. Jordan, Mary M. Jordan and Karen M. Jordan, all of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, William N. Robinson of Front Royal and Eugene A. Robinson of Huntly; four sisters, Mamie E. Roberts, Josephine Sessoms and Mary S. Watkins, all of Washington and Helen Driver of Baltimore and a grandchild.
