• A Stihl chainsaw was stoler from a storage shed behind a Castleton home last week, said the sheriff. The chainsaw, worth $650 new, had an estimated value of $300.
• A Front Royal woman was injured in a single-vehicle accident at 9:05 p.m. Jan. 7 on U.S. 522, twotenths of a mile south of Route 677, according to Sgt. D.S. Adams of the State Police.
