The school budget
When Rappahannock Public Schools Superintendent David Gangel unveils his 1992-93 budget proposal to the public at the School Board's March 3 meeting, all eyes will be on the bottom line.
In recent years the board and Dr. Gangel have struggled to stabilize the budget, which has risen from $3.9 million in 1988-89 to $4.43 million in the current fiscal year, an increase of 13 percent over four years.
