nomic crisis, the people of Rappahannock managed to build a new library and to increase their support for the local arts institutions to make up some of the last years’ drastic state cuts. The arts may survive in Rappahannock thanks to that spirit, but in the other rural areas and in our nuyor Virginia cities there will be no more curtain calls.
We ask that you write or call your representatives: Del. Jerry Wood and Sens. Kevin Miller or Ed Robb, do Virginia General Assembly, Richmond, Va. 23219 and urge them to restore ftinding for the arts. The budget will be decided over the next month and your input is critical.
