The funeral was conducted ' Thursday, Jan. 2 at the funeral home by the Rev. Warren Boling. Burial was in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. j
Mr. Martin was bom Feb. 1J3, 1923, in Rappahannock County, tfie son of the late Ashby and Bessie Horton Martin. He retired in 1961 las dispatcher for Polly’s Cab Inc. ajid was a graduate of Spincer Wat^h Making School. He was a member'of the First Baptist Church, the Fort George Club; the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 824, and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Winchester Lodge 867.
Surviving are his wife, Stuart McCarty Martin; a daughter, Elizabeth Lee of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a son, Robert M. Martin of Upper- , ville; a sister, Mary Bessie Affleck of Winchester; a brother, John Martin of Frederick County and a grandchild.

Thomas D. Jenkins, 48, of Brandy Station, died Saturday, Jan. 4 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.
Mr. Jenkins was bom in Culpeper on Oct. 27, 1943, the son of Mrs. Gladys Jenkins and the late Clyde R. Jenkins, formerly of Rappahannock.
Survivors in addition to his mother include two sisters, Mrs. Richard Woodward of Forest, Va. and Mrs. Randy Winn of Culpeper; four brothers, Randolph Jenkins of Roanoke, George Jenkins of Norfolk, Roy Jenkins of Culpeper and Herbert Jenkins of Jacksonville, Fla. and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 6 at Clore Funeral Home with Dr. H.O. Browning officiating.
