The community has been saddened by the deaths of several residents recently. Mrs. Virginia Bywaters died during the holidays and last week Mrs. Elva Rosenberger Compton died, as well as Mr. L.J. Davis’ mother and Gilbert and Ed Lawrence’s sister.
Additional holiday news, Mrs. Anna Fincham, along with Mrs. Mattie Hackley and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hitt eiyoyed Christmas on Dec. 28 with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hackley in Fairfax.
Mrs. Anna Fincham and Mrs. Warren Settle were guests of Mrs. Mary O’Bannon and family on Thursday, Jan. 2.
