Tattler of the Bride'
"Father of the Bride," Rated PG, starring Steve Martin, Diane Keaton, Martin Short, Kimberly Williams and George Newman will be shown at the Theatre at Washington, Va. on Sunday, the weekly RAAC-sponsored movie.
One day George's (Martin) daughter is in pigtails, shooting baskets in the backyard, he's the man in her life and all's right with the world. The next thing he knows she's in a slinky black dress announcing her engagement to a man she met in Rome. This hilarious and touching remake of the Spencer Tracy-Elizabeth Taylor classes makes for a splendid evening of entertainment. Martin makes a marvelous father and an even more marvelous 'Father of the Bride.' Coming to The Theatre RAAC movie series: "The Great Mouse Detective," July 12; "Radio Flyer," July 19 and "My Own Private Idaho," July 26.
