What a great story you published on Marshall Jordan last week. I enjoyed that more than anything I’ve read in your paper in a long time.
The old people have something to tell us about this nation of ours. Mr. Jordan’s advise on staying out of trouble is so simple yet so profound, “My Daddy told me if I didn’t want to get in trouble, stay out of bad company, and I took him at his word.” As the old saying goes - the proof is in the pudding.
Editor, keep publishing stories like this one because it might help steer someone in the right direction. It is not impossible to turn out right. All you need are some right values, and you musn’t leave Christ and His Word (the Bible) out of the picture because He is our only true example of right. As Mr. Jordan acknowledges, the Lord deserves the praise for His goodness to us.
