Alumni baseball game

There will be an alumni baseball game at 4 p.m. at Rappahannock High School on Saturday, July 11. So all of you old timers that feel that urge to try it one more time, call David (Scratch) Clanagan at 987-8937 after 5 p.m.

This game will benefit the Rappahannock Monarc ha baseball team. A small fee of $3 for audits and $2 for children is requested. “We are asking for everyone to come out and help us to keep mens baseball alive in Rappahannock County,” said Mr. Clanagan.

Reading team at library

Don’t miss out! Children of all ages are invited to join the Rappahannock Library’s reading team and celebrate the Olympics. Everyone thoroughly eqjoyed learning about space and the astronauts from Pat Biggs of NASA. At 10 a.m. on July 8 Cindy Andreoni will entertain everyone with her stories and songs. Come to the library, join in the fun, and reach for it, read!

Family reunion planned

The Jenkins, Sisk and Woodward family reunion will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, July 5 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington. Family and friends are invited to come bring a picnic lunch and eiyoy the day.

Dwyer family reunion

The second annual Dwyer family reunion will be held from 10 a.m. to.5 p.m. on Sunday, July 19 at the Washington fire hall. Lunch will be served at 2 p.m. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish and beverage. For more information call 987-8471.
