Forage conference set

Health classes at Piedmont
Are you overweight? Do you suffer from hypertension? Well, take charge and do something about it!
A new course at Piedmont Technical Education Center addresses these and other health concerns. Titled “Natural Remedies for Today’s Diseases,” the class will be taught by health professionals from Hartlal\d Wellness Center, a lifestyle education center located near Rapidan. They will emphasize lifestyle management that allows people to - prevent or alleviate certain diseases resulting from today’s hectic pace.

Support group to meet
“Working Through Grief,” a support group will meet every Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. The groups are structured to help each participant better understand and cope with his or her loss. If you or a loved one is in need of bereavement support, please call the Hospice office*at 825-4840.
New play group

Herbal medicine workshop
There will be an herbal medicine workshop Saturday, Jan. 23 in Flint Hill. The focus will be on Family Health Care through the Winter. Herbs and tinctures for colds, flus and for stimulating the immune system will be highlighted. To register call Kathleen Maier at 6363078. Workshop runs from 10-4 p.m. and the fee is on a sliding scale $40-$60 per person.
Free yoga classes
A loose an<J loyal group of yoga practitioners meet from 6-7 p.m. every Monday evening at the Middle Street Gallery. Transplant group to meet
The Transplant Support Group meets at 7:30 p.m? on the first Thursday the month in the conference room of the Culpeper Baptist Church, 318 S. West Street. This group is for transplant recipients, potential recipients and their families.
