Following the jury’s recommendations, the judge sentenced Walters to three years for each conviction of breaking and entering, two years for the grand larceny, 12 months and a $1,000 fine for the petit larceny, and two years for the escape. Judge Robertson ordered the sentences for the B&E’s and the larcenys to be served concurrently, but the escape sentence to be served consecutively. He also ordered the fine suspended upon payment of court costs within one year of his release. *>
As a result Walters is facing a total of five years in prison, plus whatever additional time he is sentenced to for probation violations in this and other courts.
