Arlis E. Frymyer has accepted

the post of Assistant County Agent in Warren and Rappahannock Counties. He will assume his new duties in Rappahannock on January 16th. Mr. Frymyer worked out of Frederick County for five years as farm management specialist covering seven counties in the Northern Virginia area. Mr. Frymyer replaces Paul Coleman who vacated the position some months ago to enter the Armed Services. His primary responsibilities in his new position will be 4-H work, farm management and other phases of adult extension work.

Dr. Rupert W. Quaintance, Jr., was elected President of the Culpeper Memorial Hospital Medical Staff for the year 1963 at the January meeting of the Culpeper Memorial Hospital Medical Staff. Dr. Quaintance was born in Lundale, West Virginia, and is a graudate of the University of Richmond, School of Medicine. He interned in Indianapolis General Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana, and went into private practice in Culpeper in 1951. Dr. Quaintance is the son of Dr. and Mrs. R.W. Quaintance, Sr., of Slate Mills, and is married to the former Miss Virginia Neligh of Indianapolis. The/hliveYour children.

Mrs. James Grimmer of Flint Hill has been appointed clerk of the local ASC Office. She has been employed by this office on a temporary basis for several months and Sis of January 6 her status is permanent. Mrs. Grimmer is a native of Portsmouth, and is the wife of Rev. James Grimmer who is pastor of the Sperryville, Washington, Flint Hill and Willis Chapel Methodist Churches. *■
