We offer congratulations to David Updike who along with another student, Chris Thompson took first place honors in the district Vocational Industrial Clubs of America as they competed in electronic categories. They both are students at Piedmont Vocational School and went on to the VICA competion on Saturday. Updike the son of Mrs. Darlene Updike, resides with his mother and younger brother on Route 707 and he is a senior at Rappahannock High School. These students call their invention the Electronic Competition Master.
