Edna Alther
Mrs. Edna Virginia Alther. 72, of Washington died on Saturday, May 8 at the Annaburg Nursing Home in Manassas.
A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Huston and Callie Clatterbuck Ralls. She was a member of Flint Hill Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Levi Alther; two sons, David H. Alther and Stanley L. Alther, both of Washington; a daughter, Charlene Alther of Washington; a grandson, David H. Alther Jr. of Washington; two brothers. Dennis Ralls and Raymond Ralls, both of Sperryville and a sister, Hilda Alther of Sperryville.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 11 at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper with the Rev. Jack Campbell officiating.
Interment was in Sperryville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jerry L. Pullen, Roy A. Alther, Roy Alther, John F. (Bud) Huff, Raymond Ralls Jr., and James L. Dwyer.
