said, “I don’t see much room to make cuts, but I have some difficulty with architect fees of $82,000.” He suggested that architectural fees should be lower since the proposal by Baugham and Baukages for an addition could be followed. “Just put an Aline roof on it,” he said.
School Superintendent David Gangel said that would be the architect’s fee for the whole project including supervision of construction, but that most of the funds would be paid for services performed between June and October, when he hopes to be ready to begin construction. He said the county would have to put the money “up front” but could probably be reimbursed through the bonds that are issued to pay for the project.
