Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor attended the funeral of his cousin Richard Streit in Winchester on Wednesday, May 5. Mr. Streit passed away on Saturday. May 1.

Mrs. Catherine Brown and other family members recently attended her daughter Shirley’s 50th birthday party at the Montgomery Village Golf Club in Gaithersburg, Md.

Rappahannock United Methodist Charge will hold its Proclaim the Words program beginning Sunday at the Flint Hill United Methodist.

A covered dish dinner will begin at 5 p.m. at the Flint Hill fire hall with services beginning at 7:30 p.m. with Buddy Devers speaking.

On Monday a covered dish dinner will be held at 6 p.m. at Sperryville fire hall and Rev. Wendy Cook will be preaching at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday at Willis Chapel United Methodist Rev. Randy Randorff will be preaching and on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. at Flint Hill Methodist Rev. John Pendleton will be speaking. All are invited to attend.
