Satuday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hickerson of Chester Gap and Virginia Hickerson and daughter, Wanda of Front Royal.

On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson were taken to dinner for Mother’s Day by Lynn and Betty Lillard at the Country Cafe in Washington.

Geneva Cubbage and Reva Goode of Stanley were recent weekend guests of Sallie Lillard.

Jim Curtis of Linden visited his parents Mr. and Mrs. Jack Curtis on Mother’s Day.

Joyce Walker of Arlington spent the Mother’s Day weekend with her mother, Evelyn Walker.

Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Welch and girls, Emily and Katie entertained at a cookout at their home on Saturday evening. Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Steve Welch, Nathan and Amber and the Cecil Pullens. Saturday morning guests of the Welchs were Shelby and Larry' Welch and Bobby Welch.
