Virginia Potomac Edison
Customers with Fossil Fuel Heat!
(Sorry, not customers with natural gas heating systems.) If you are a Virginia Potomac Edison customer who has an existing fossil fuel, forced air heating system (other than natural gas), you can save up to $300 on a high-efficiency electric add-on heat pump! With an add-on heat pump, you can save enough on heating to pay for cooling...providing you with year-round comfort.
To encourage four-season energy savings, the Virginia State Corporation Commission has approved an experimental rebate program, assigned through participating dealers, for the first 100 Qualifying Virginia households who respond to this offer in 1993. Adding a heat pump to your existing forced air heating system can decrease your heating cost significantly, especially during mild weather. If you are considering replacing your central air-conditioning system, your new high efficiency add-on heat pump replaces that unit and reduces your total heating and cooling energy consumption. If you dont have central air, this offer allows you to add energy efficient summer cooling and save enough on your heating energy cost to pay for cooling.
