In order to better serve all residents, Rappahannock County has agreed to allow Culpeper County to install road signs at main intersections; i.e., U.S. 211 and Route 639, 739 etc. in which a small portion of the road extends into Rappahannock. There are several roads meeting this criteria. Most of the roads already named by Culpeper will be honored by Rappahannock. If you have any questions regarding road names in Culpeper, call Pam in the Development Office at 825-6241 or 825-0355. In Rappahannock, call Chris Salmon at 675-3137. Your patience during this transition period is appreciated. The E-911 system will insure a rapid response to all residents in an emergency.
