Assistant athletic director Gary Leake is asking alumni who want to participate to sign up by calling the . schools at 987-8575. Twenty have signed up so far, but Coach Leake is hoping for 48. Players pay $5 to play. This fee pays for the referees, and each player will receive a team jersey.

Trash Clean-Up Day

On Saturday, Nov. 20 Rappahannock residents are urged to participate in a county-wide effort to clean up the county’s road sides and our park.

Any groups who have “Adopt-aHighway,” or any neighborhoods that want to pick up along a particular road or roads should do so on or near that time so that we can coordinate bag pick-up with VDOT or the RLEP volunteers helping to make this event happen.

Anyone interested in logging in some time helping to clean the trails and put up the basketball goals at the park that day is encouraged to do so and get family and friends to help.

To sign up and for additional information or input, contact Hunt Harris at 636-3066.
