The School Board insisted again that it wants the roof on the addition to the elementary school to have a peaked roof.
The issue came up because VMDO architects told school administrators the peaked roof on the addition, with flat roofs on the rest of the building would “stick out like a sore thumb,” Superintendent David Gangel said.
He brought drawings and a model with a removeable peaked roof to the board meeting Tuesday
