Frank Stringfellow
Mr. Jesse Franklin Stringfellow, 65, of Washington died on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at his residence.
He was born in Culpeper County on Sept. 8, 1928, the son of the late Mamie Louise Spicer and Jesse Franklin Stringfellow.
Mr. Stringfellow was a member of the Washington Baptist Church and the Washington Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mrs. Dollie A. Stringfellow; two sons, Charles Stringfellow of Washington and James Stringfellow of Marshall and two daughters, Beverly Weaver of Culpeper and Betty Hawkins of Rixeyville.
He is also survived by two brothers, Robert Stringfellow of Amissville and Bernard Stringfellow of Culpeper; two sisters, Edith Stringfellow and Edna Thomas both of Amissville; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 13 at Washington Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell Rare officiating.
Interment was in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ray Pullen, Jack Smith, Lewis Smith, John Henry Woodw-ard, Mike Brown, Gibson Whorton, Charles Holmes and Mitchell Green.
