The board also voted to send a letter to the Board of Supervisors asking them to request VDOT to include improvements to Route 636 in the six-year road plan. With such improvements the back area of the school can be accessed without using much of the bond money for the road work.
Mrs. Massie announced that the bonds had been sold and the interest rate is under 5 percent.
