Owen Cubbage of Rt. 615 extended underwent eye surgery under the skillful hands of Dr. Brear in Culpeper on Thursday and we wish him a speedy recovery.

It’s pancake supper time again down at the Salem Fire Hall on Rt. 522 from 5-7:30 p.m. this Saturday, Nov. 20. Pancakes, sausage, applesauce or apples are on the menu. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children.

Friends in our area are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of David Grandstaff, son of Elder Evangelist and Mrs. Waldo Grandstaff of Virginia Beach who was killed in a hunting accident near their home.
