Plan for Fall
Quality, quantity and color of flowers were the subjects for the first meeting of the flower arrangers and growers who are members of the Episcopal Churchwomen of Bromfield Parish, Trinity Church, Washington.
They met to plan the 39th Annual Rappahannock County House Tour and Dried Flower Sale, scheduled, as always, for the third weekend in October.
Starting with selecting varieties of flowers to be grown from seeds, planning and working toward the event will cover the next nine months, and involve many people in the Rappahannock County area.
For the Dried Flower Sale itself volunteers will be growing, gathering, drying, arranging, pricing and selling flowers.
For the House Tour there are jobs for hostesses in the houses and car parkers outside.
This annual fall event brings many visitors to the county.
