Camp and Training To Be Held The District Winter 4-H Cloverbpd Camp will be held March 24-26 at the Northern Virginia 4-H Education Center. The committee is seeking adults and teens for volunteers. Youth must be 5-8 years of age as of Jan. 1, 1995. The cost is $37, and applications are due tot he 4-H Center Feb. 24. I he date tor the 4-H Camp Counselor training is scheduled for Match 3-4 at the 4-H Center. Any teen, ages 14-18 as of Jan. 1, 1995, who would like to participate as a teen leader at camp is encouraged to go. Two training tracks will be offered this year — one for teens and adults who will be first — year counselors and the resource tract for teens and adults who have been counselors two or more vears. Registration forms and information on both of these 4-H events are available from the Extension Office at 675-3619.
HealthFest Planned Area health services and organizations are invited to participate in the Culpeper HealthFest ‘95 planned for Saturday, March 11. Sponsored by the Culpeper Memorial Hospital, the RappahannockRapidan Community Services Board, the Culpeper Health Department, and the Culpeper Rescue Squad, the community health fair will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 noon in the cafeteria at Culpeper County High School. Designed to contribute to the health of our community, the HealthFest provides information on services available in our area and health screenings. Organizations or services that wish to participate in the HealthFest are invited to call the community relations department at CMH for information, 829-4307.
