PUBLIC MEETING:
TRANSPORTATION PLAN ISSUES
As part of a regional transportation plan development process, the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors shall hold a joint public meeting with the Rappahannock County Planning Commission to consider long-range transportation planning issues in Rappahannock County. The meeting will be held on Monday, March 6, 1995. at 7:00 PM at the Courthouse in Washington, VA. Several documents prepared by the consultant to the Rappahannock-Rapidan Planning District Commission (PD9), Mr. Dick Keller of Kellerco, identifying Rural Highway Issues and Current Transportation Issues, with accompanying maps, are available for inspection at the County administration office during normal business hours.
The Meeting is intended to provide an opportunity for exchange of views and exploration of transportation needs and concerns; no plan or priority listing is intended to be developed. At least one future public hearing will be scheduled to consider the results of discussion and planning efforts.
All interested persons are invited to attend and to make comment.
