The Rappahannock County Public Schools will be undergoing a Federal Program Monitoring review of special education, vocational education, Chapter 1, Chapter 2, and school nutrition programs by representatives of the Virginia Department of Education on March 16 and 17, 1995. The purpose of the review is to determine whether or not the school division is complying with state and federal regulations. Any local citizen who would like the opportunity to provide input in the monitoring process may contact Richard Smith, Administrative Assistant, at the Rappahannock County School Board Office, 987-8773. Citizens will be given the opportunity to comment as to their perceptions of how well Rappahannock County Public Schools are meeting state and federal regulations. The inspecting team will be available ,to hear such comments between 5:30 P.M. and 7:30 P.M. on Thursday, March 16, 1995 in the elementary school auditorium. If you wish to comment and are unable to meet this schedule, other arrangements can be made by contacting Richard Smith.
