He was born Dec. 15, 1961, in Washington, D.C., a son of David and Judith Sloan of Markham.
Mr. Wilson was a furniture designer for Sierra Arts Company.
Surviving with his parents are a brother, Brent Thomas Wilson of Rixeyville; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Theron Wilson of Arlington; maternal grandmother, Nancy Tucker Mellon of Front Royal and five uncles.
He was predeceased in death by his father, Dean Alan Wilson Sr.
Mr. Wilson grew up in Northern Virginia and was a 1980 graduate of Rappahannock County High School. He moved to California when Sierra Arts relocated its headquarters from Culpeper in 1985.
Funeral services were held Feb. 27 at Walker Chapel United Methodist Church in Arlington with the Rev. Arthur Wingfield.
Interment was in Walker Chapel Church Cemetery in Arlington.
