Members of the Board of Supervisors listened to several people complain about the decision to close the dumpsters but took no additional action other than to say at next month’s meeting they will consider having more recycling centers.
Jack Dwyer led off the opponents to closing the dumpsters by saying the supervisors had a mandate to do what the citizens want. He said petitions placed in the country stores opposing the dumpster closing had garnered the signatures of over one-third of the voters.
