On Friday and Saturday evenings, March IS and 16, at Ki Theatre, a cast of your Rappahannock neighbors will present The Neighbors, a play by Zona Gale.
The cast includes Joyce Abell, Vinnie Carney, Jean Falk, Becky Gallegos, Sean Kilpatrick, Kathleen Maier, Ellen Manson and Andrew Van Horn; it is directed by Peter Hombostel. Amelia Manson is stage manager.
Zona Gale (1874-1938) was bom in Portage, Wisconsin. She wrote novels, plays and poems about midwestern rural life.
The play was written by Miss Gale in 1914 for the Wisconsin Dramatic Society, one of the first community theatre groups in America. Mr. Hornbostel said he chose this play for his directing debut
