Bird Mart Scheduled

The Bird Mart at the Annandale Boys and Girls Club Auditorium in i Alexandria announces their spring Bird Mart from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. ! on Sunday, March 24.

The Mart features hundreds of pet and talking birds, dozens of expert pet bird breeders and suppliers including suppliers of feed and equipment for wild bird feeders and bird watchers. Admission is $3 for adults, and $1 for children under 12 and seniors. Free parking, snack bar and wheel- • chair facilities are available.

The WBRB Ministers and Deacons Union Scholarship Committee will be holding its Arts and Crafts Spring Fundraise at the Sperryville Emporium from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 1. Crafters are needed. In addition, those interested in giving “how-to” demonstrations for leather goods, ceramics, glassblowing, woodworking, candlemaking, quilting, dollmaking, canning, etc. are encouraged to participate.
