Saturday, March 2, at Alma Primitive Baptist Church located near Stanley in Page County afternoon services were held for the purpose of ordaining a new minister. Brother Forrest Nelson Atwood was ordained Elder.
A presbytery of nine elders and 24 deacons officiated at the ordination. The congregation, made up of the home church and surrounding visitors, was filled to capacity.
Such a sweet and moving time for us. We are sure to be blessed to have this fine young man in God’s service. May God use him well, that he may walk in the old paths all his days and preach the truth in Christ held so dear to us.
