Pallbearers were Jimmy Hooper, Donald Lease, Robert Settle, David Smoot, John Settle and Melvin Dodson.

Jackson Yowell
Jackson Kerrick Yowell, 85, of ! Rixeyville, died April 1 at the f University of Virginia Medical Center. ,
He was bom on Aug. 23, 1910, in Novum, the son of the late Irving V. and Irma Kerrick Yowell.
He was a retired machinist at Atlantic Research Corporation at Gainesville as well as a farmer.
He was a lifelong member of the . National Rifle Association as well as was always interested in guns and gunsmithing. ;
He was a member of the Jeffersonton Baptist Church in Jeffersonton.
He is survived by his wife, Frances T. Yowell; one son, Jon W. Yowell of Rixeyville and two daughters, Sharon Y. Darling of Rixeyville, and Jacquelyn Y. Search of Berryville. '
He is also survived by three grandchildren. j;
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 4, at 11 a.m. at the Jeffersonton Baptist Church Cemetery With the Rev. Marshall Braylo officiating.
