Amissville Baptist Church invites the community to attend Sunrise Service on Red Oak Mountain 6:30 a.m.; no breakfast at Forest Grove as has been the custom for many, many years; Easter Cantata 11 a.m.; no service Sunday evening.
No-smoking class will be held at Hartland Institute’s Wellness Center beginning at 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. this Sunday, April 7 through the 11th. Cost is $35. The Center is located on Route 614, just off Route 15, south of Culpeper, at Locust Dale sign.
A free presentation on “Disease Prevention” by Hartland’s Kae Borrero will be held at Amissville Health and Fitness Support Group at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9. The public is invited. The Health and Fitness Group meets weekly at 11 a.m. at Amissville United Methodist Church.
