Thistle Hill B&B Inn is pleased to announce a reception for the artists, at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. June 9.
Local artist Carol Vogel, founder and director of Shimmering Meadows Studio has been drawing and painting since childhood. A native Washingtonian, she studied art at American University while majoring in fine arts.
More recently she has studied at the Art League School in Old Town Alexandria and privately with several prominent portrait artist. Her interests while artistically broad, have been focused on representation of the human face and body.
Her work has appeared in numerous juried art exhibitions an garnished several awards including first prized winner in the 1996 Fauquier Artists’ Alliance Art Show. Currently she spends her
