Genebach's 10th

Year Celebrated

Sharon Genebach celebrated the 20th anniversary of her local law practice on Monday, May 6.

On May 6, 1976, she opened her practice with her mother Nona Geneback as her assistant in an office over the Rappahannock National Bank.

She was the first woman attorney to open a practice in Rappahannock County.

Following her marriage to Peter Luke they joined forces in their law practice and opened their current office of Luke and Genebach Ltd. in the original Washington Volunteer Fire Department Fire Hall.

Mrs. Genebach has continued to work in the office during all these 20 years.
