Amissville Baptist Church will host a Spring Revival to give its congregation an opportunity to meet the Pastor Search Committee’s candidate for pastor, Rev. H. Vemon DeLong.
Rev. DeLong will hold a pre-meeting prayer time at 6:30 p.m. and revival service at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15. He will again speak at the morning worship beginning at 11 a.m. Following the morning worship, the congregation will be able to have a question and answer period with Rev. DeLong during the covered dish supper to be held in the fellowship hall. Each family is asked to bring a covered dish and a liter of your favorite drink. Chicken will be provided by the church.
Sunday, March 23, a congregational vote will be held after the morning worship to determine Rev. Delong’s selection as new pastor.
