Call to Democratic Caucus
The Rappahannock County Democratic Committee hereby announces that it will hold an unassembled caucus at Rappahannock County Courthouse, Washington, Virginia on March 22,1997 at 12:00 Noon for the purpose of electing delegates and alternates to Ihe 10th District Convention and ihe Stale Democratic Corwention to be held on May 910,1997 in Richmond, Virginia. The 10(h District Convention wi nominate 20 persons to serve on the Democralic State Central Committee and conduct such other business as required. The District Convention wil be held at 12:00 Noon on April 19,1997, Rarkview Hk^r School, 400 West Laurel Avenue, Sterling, Virginia. The 1997 State Democratic Convention wi convene for the purpose of nominating a candidate for Governor, Lieutenant Gcwemor, and Attorney General; and electing members to the Democratic State Central Committee. The Convention shal continue unfil al business set forth in accordance with foe 1997 Cal andany subsequent agenda provided by the Convention Rules Committee, shall be completed. Any person attendtog a caucus, before participating in that caucus, shal sign a standardized declaration form, stating that he or she is a Democrat does not intend to support any candidate who is opposed to a Democratic nominee in the next ensung election, is not a member of an/ other political party, wi not participate in tie nominating processof any other political party, and is a registered voter in such precinct, city, or county. Declaration forms must be Med out at the caucus site prior to voting. Doors to the caucus wil be closed at 12:00 Noon and no person msy complete a form or vote after this time with tie exception of those persons in fine at 12:00 Noon.

AlprefWng forms must be received no later than 5.-00 pja, March 17, 1997. Faxed prefing forms w* not be accepted.
