Scout Anniversary Planned

The Rappahannock Area Girl Scout Service Unit of the Virginia Skyline Girl Scout Council will be celebrating their 85th anniversary with a birthday party on Saturday^ March 15 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Rappahannock Elementary School auditorium. Birthday cake will be served and the group cordially invites any former girl scouts or Girl Scout leaders from the county. Call Sally Havstad for information, 987-9342.

Fruit Idas Arrived

The Rappahannock Band Boosters fruit has arrived and may be picked up on March 21 and March 22 at the Rappahannock Coop. There will be extra fruit available if anyone is interested.

Parenting a Teenager Course Set

Free training entitled “Effective Parenting of Teenagers" will be held for six sessions beginning on March 20 at the Rappahannock Extension Office. Each meeting will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and is open to the public. For more information and to register, call Valerie at 675-3313.

Benefits Planned at Flint Id ill

The Flint Hill Fire Department will sponsor an Easter bake sale, car wash and a BBQ chicken dinner with fixings beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 29 at the fire hall. Car wash is $6. WVFD Breakfast Buffet, Egg Hunt

You and your family are invited to enjoy a warm, hearty breakfast to benefit the Washington Volunteer Fire Department. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids at 11 a.m. With a donation of $7 for adults/$3 for children you will be served your choice of made-to-order eggs or omelettes, pancakes, homefries, grits, biscuits, sausage gravy, homemade applesauce, bacon, juice, coffee and tea. Please join us on Saturday, March 29 from 7:30 to 11 a.m. for breakfast and 11 for the egg hunt.

RCHS Spring Concert Set

The Rappahannock County High School Band Spring Concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 13 at the high school. “Everyone is welcome,” said an organizer.
