On Sunday evening, John Sisk, 69, of Culpeper, was charged with reckless driving and failure to wear a seat belt following an accident on U.S. 211, two miles east of Skyline Drive.
According to Trooper C.W. Sumner’s report, Mr. Sisk was driving a 1991 Ford Ranger and ran off the road on the right, striking a tree. He was injured but the extent of his injuries is unknown. The Ranger had $6000 damage.
Following a traffic stop on Route 669 in Amissville last Thursday morning, just after midnight, Russell Scott Milbum, 31, of Front Royal, was charged by Deputy Connie Compton of the Sheriff’s Office with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and being drunk in public. According to Major Rick MacWelch, Mr. Milbum was placed in the Rappahannock County Jail without bond.
