SAT Workshops Offered at RCHS

Here is a fine opportunity for Rappahannock Junior Class students to better prepare for their upcoming SAT’s (Scholastic Aptitude Test) which will be given this May. The SAT Math classes will be held on six consecutive Tuesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. beginning on March 18. The SAT English (Verbal) classes will be held on six consecutive evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. beginning on March 19. The cost for each six series class is $30, Fee payment deadline is Monday, March 17. Beach Party Planned

There will be a Hawaiian beach party for area teens from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 16 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington. Beach shorts and shirts are encouraged for the Hawaiian beach party with a “True Love Waits” Abstinence Program. There will be games, video, music and pizza.

Community Concerts Performance

Season subscribers to the six-county area Community Concert Association are reminded of the third event in the current series, The Black Mountain Male Chorus of Wales on Saturday, March 15, at 7:30 p.m. at Culpeper County High School. Five attractions for the CCA’s 1997-98 subscription season will be The Russian Season Dance Company, Max Marath the Ragtime Man, Glenn Miller Orchestra, a Gershwin Centennial pianist, and mezzo-soprano, Brenda Boozer.
