Perhaps Kentlands biggest failing, however, is that it failed to attract a regional upscale mall as was envisioned in Duany’s original plan. “The biggest disappointment has been that the retail has lagged so much,” Mauri said. “Everything else has met my expectations.”
Like many other Kentland’s residents, Mauri still makes the commute to work every day by car. But he said he is willing to make the long commute to live in a community he believes is the wave of the futureA
